Eve Barden is a video artist with an MFA from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA, in Interdisciplinary Fine Arts focusing on video installation and a BFA in Communication Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University. Following her graduation, Eve has taught art, film and animation, participated in various group exhibitions, and has served as an editorial board member at The Northern Virginia Review, a literary and visual arts journal. Eve actively maintains a robust studio practice with an emphasis on narrative-based video installation, projection mapping, and experimental animation. Currently, Eve is pursuing a doctoral degree in Film and Media studies at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research focuses on Eastern European animators and avant-garde filmmakers.
